Mrs. Ingram & Mrs. Causey and you know who!
Last Friday was
Egyptian Extravaganza Day at school. We have been studying the Egyptians since school started and have had many activities related to the topic. Its been a neat lesson. We also took a trip to the Anniston Museum to see a real mummy and made an Egyptian Di-0-rama. They marched from the school down to the gym in their costumes and got to experience what it would be like to be an Egyptian for the day.
They dressed up as Kings, Queens and Slaves,
made Egyptian face
masks
created collars and pyramids

sculpted a scarab beetle in clay

had a race to see which class could wrap their teacher up like a mummy first - we won!

made an Egyptian doll

and played Egyptian Games
and ate Mummy Bagels & Hot Dogs
