Merry Christmas to everyone!! We hope that you had a wonderful time with your family and friends as we celebrated the birth of Jesus. We had a great Christmas. Matt's parents
and sister Jennifer came to stay with us for a few
days, and we were able to Skype with my family. We missed the Christmas Eve gang this year because we were at Church and got home very late -- we still had so many last minute things that had to get wrapped and put under the tree before we could go to bed. Sorry guys!!! We wish we could have been there to celebrate with you too.
So that brings us to Christmas day at our house. Our Christmas started around 7:30 or so. Aunt Jennifer had the pleasure of sleeping in Gracy's room on the bottom bunk bed- which ment that she was woken up first :) Did we plan that or what?!! We heard them both walk down the hall and into the living room to check things out. So Daddy and I decided we better get up and start the day. Although K and brother were not able to physically be with us this Christmas, we kept them close to our hearts and reminisced about last Christmas together. We look forward to a life time of Christmas's together as a family!!!
So the big present this year was Ice Skating Camp at the Pelham Civic Complex
and an "American Girl Doll - but Target's version" - Gracy named the doll Catherine. Her box name was "Lily Anna" and she came in a horse riding outfit. It looks just like Gracy. Auntie Dee & Uncle Rich gave her some matching pajamas that were a huge hit and well worth the wait from her birthday (mommy put the package up until someone could decide on which doll she wanted) She was thrilled!!
We had cooked our big meal on Christmas Eve and enjoyed the pleasure of just reheating left-overs instead of spending the whole day in the kitchen cooking. It was very nice!!
