We were in the backyard this past weekend digging up the dirt around the tree to help the pavers be level when we found an unexpected treasure! She was delighted that we had unearthed a treasure in her very own backyard. The first one was an old smashed flower pot and then a piece of glass. But THEN, she found this!!!
The real treasure and boy was she so excited. We still are not sure of what exactly is it, but I think it is Garfields friend Odie. We are not sure if it was the dogs toy from the previous owners of our house, or if it belonged to the family that lived here before them. An old treasure none the less!!
After she unearthed this old treasure, she received a new (old) treasure of sorts. Grammy Rita (Bahama Mama, and Auntie Karen actually) sent her some "dress-up" jewelry.
This treasure I feel might have been far greater than the find in the backyard. A box filled will all sorts of jewels! The pink ear rings are her favorite. Thanks Grammy Rita, Grammy and Auntie Karen!!!
