We jumped right into planning and participating in VBS the first week in June.

There was lots of decorating doors and bulletin boards to get ready for it. Matt made 4 awesome wooden horses for the babies to enjoy and even some of the big kids too.
Father's Day quickly followed next. Daddy actually honored us with a huge bunch of flowers for Father's Day :) Sarah was tickled pink and loves to get flowers! We honored Daddy with breakfast in bed, a CD of Jeremy Camp and a framed collage of family photos for the wall. We might have even gone for a family bike ride after church that day too. Lots of together time! A CPR and Water Safety class for adoption, play dates with our friends and swimming in our pool also occupied the last days of June before our trip.

And then it was off to Boston to visit family for the 4th of July. It was awesome!!! We had so much fun and really enjoyed getting to spend time with everyone!
Thank you Grampy B for letting us stay with you! Grampy gave Sarah some lessons on the organ and she practiced Silent Night all week. It made us think about Christmas in July. Which ment a visit to the Christmas Tree Store to shop. We enjoyed the visits at night from Uncle Rich N Auntie Dee and Uncle Kevin N Auntie Pegge. It was a special treat to spend some time with Matt N Jenn and Uncle Gary N Kelly and Simon at the birthday party and Rich and Sarah and Nick at the cook out. Rich, Matt and Nick, will always be my little cousins, even if they are getting old and in their 30's!!!! Having everyone together again was a nice reminder of growing up as a kid and I truly cherished our time together. Thanks Auntie Dee N Uncle Rich for inviting us to the cook out at your house. Sarah had a lot of fun playing with Brian.
We made it to Cranes Beach for 4th of July to enjoy the sun n sand but were cooled off in the water because our ankles froze! We had dinner with Dad a couple of times and oooohed and ahhhhed over mussels and clams together. Did I mention our trip was filled with LOTS of good food. We successfully managed to visit all of our favorite eating places that we don't have in Alabama like, Bertucci's, Polcari's, Dube's, Chinese, Nicks Roast Beef, Stone Soup and Dunkin' Donuts for coffee. But we also had some really good home cooking at Karen's restaurant too! We did not go hungry or lack for anything in the food department.

I loved being around my family and there were so many fun things that we did together. One of my favorite parts was the group photo at the birthday party. I've been wanting so much to have a photo with everyone in it, since of course I am in Alabama and can't see everyone every day. It will make a nice photo on my wall that will allow my family to be close to me, even when we are so far away.
Sarah LOVED being with the boys! It was awesome to see how much they had grown since we were there last year. They've all grown up so much. If I have forgotten anything I'll be sure to add it in the next blog -- maybe I wont' take so long to update the next time.
Thanks everyone for everything!!!!!!!!! See you next year.
