Sunshine to Snow

The one time it snows in Alabama and we missed it! We were in Florida and had heard that it snowed back home, but by the time we got into Alabama, it was all gone. It looked beautiful and we hate that we missed it.  Many of our friends sent photos of the snow to share with us- Thank you!  It was a very funny sight to drive down the street and see snowmen in our neighbors yards, but no other snow anywhere! Sarah was delighted to be able to play in the very small amount that was on our back deck. It was cold and she didn't stay out there long, but long enough to need some hot cocoa to warm her up.  As I e-mailed my sister these photos and told her of our "huge" snow storm, she wrote that they had gotten 12-15 inches from that same storm. It reminded me that we had been up North about this same time last year, how COLD it was, and how much Sarah loved playing in the snow with the boys!
