At our church, when the kids reach First Grade and go to the "KidQuest" area, they are presented with their very own bibles. Today Sarah received her bible. I got to sneak away from the activities downstairs to watch. It was a great ceremony and each child got to walk across the stage, in front of the whole church, shake Pastor Buddy's hand and get their bible. Sarah was tickled pink and hugged on her bible the whole time. Matt and I are thrilled that she's so excited about it and hope that it will continue a love of reading God's word everyday.
