At the beginning of the school year you might remember that Sarah gave her favorite Nursery Rhyme presentation on Peter Piper. Now that we are 100 days into the school year it was time for the next speaking engagement–this time to see how the children have progressed with their public speaking abilities since the beginning of the school year. This time, the new assignment was to speak about their favorite animal. Sarah surprised me and picked a Guinea Pig. Sarah and I did a lot of research on the internet and found some really interesting facts about Guinea Pigs to put into her presentation. It was good reading time together and we both learned a lot. I wonder if a Guinea Pig is less expensive than a $10.00 Turtle?

My Favorite Animal
